December 18-21 .. January 22-25 .. February 5-8

Players attending the trials will be assessed by the Charleston Battery coaching staff, including Head Coach, Chris Ramsey and Assistant-Coach, Mike Anhaeuser.  Players need only attend one week.  Accommodations and meals are included in the price of the trials. Note: for Charleston area players there is a non-resident payment option.

The cost for a week's trial camp is $375 ($250 non-resident).  Space is extremely limited so please apply early.  Players interested in applying for the trials should complete the Charleston Battery Trial Camp Application form and send with payment plus a recent photo to Assistant coach Michael Anhaeuser, fax (843) 856-6958 or email to Michael.Anhaeuser@CharlestonBattery.com.  Forms can also be mailed to: Attn. Charleston Battery Player Trials, Blackbaud Stadium, 1990 Daniel Island Drive, Charleston, SC 29403. Application Forms can be downloaded from the Charleston Battery website, www.charlestonbattery.com or can be requested by calling (843) 971-4625.

There is no application fee and you will only be charged if you are accepted to the trials.  All applicants will receive written notification of acceptance or denial.  If you have any questions about the trials, please contact the Battery office (843) 971-4625 ext. 205.

LANCO Fieldhouse will host event in January

Harrisburg, PA – The Harrisburg City Islanders announced on Wednesday that the club will hold open tryouts on Tuesday, January 6, and Wednesday, January 7, at the LANCO Fieldhouse in East Petersburg.

“With all of the talent based in the Central Pennsylvania area, we needed an efficient way to evaluate all of the potential players available to us,” said City Islanders Head Coach Bill Becher.  “This event should give us that opportunity.  We thank the LANCO Fieldhouse for providing an ideal location for our first tryouts.”

Participants will be required to pay a $25 registration fee.  A more detailed schedule will be available closer to the date of the tryouts.

Take PA Turnpike Exit 21
Take Rte 222 South to Rte 30 West
Stay in the left lanes on 30 West and bear left at the 30/283 split
Bear Left onto 283 West, towards Harrisburg
Take the East Petersburg/Millersville Exit (Route 741)
At the ramp make a right
LANCO Fieldhouse will be approximately one mile on the right
Make a right onto Miller Road to access the parking area

From Harrisburg
Take 83 in Harrisburg to 283 (follow signs towards Airport/Lancaster)
Take 283 South towards Lancaster
Take the East Petersburg/Millersville Exit (Route 741)
As soon as you exit, make a sharp right onto Route 741 towards East Petersburg LANCO Fieldhouse will be less than one mile on the right
