(Syracuse, NY) - Jack Jewsbury signs contract with the newest A-League franchise the Syracuse Salty Dogs. Jewsbury arrived this week and has not wasted anytime getting familiar with his teammates. He is the newest addition to the roster an is expected to play the midfield /forward position. Jewsbury, is on loan to the Dogs from the Kansas City Wizards of the MLS and will remain with the Dogs for the remainder of the season. In his college career with St. Louis, Jewsbury was named to the C-USA first team All – Conference team…finished the 2002 season as the leading scorer with 29 points…finished his collegiate career with 101 points, tying him for tenth on the Bilkens’ all time scoring list…Scored game-winner vs. New Mexico in the second round of the NCAA Tournament…Voted Pre-seasonPlayer of the Year by league’s coaches…College Soccer First Team All-American in 2001…Second team All – Midwest Region and C-USA second team All – Conference selection…2000 Soccer America third team All- American…In his sophomore year he was named the Player of the Year…Scored five game winners as a freshman…
